Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Neurology and Movement

Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse in the Ambulatory Neurology & Movement department, where you'll provide exceptional care to patients of all ages.
You will play a vital role in establishing long-term patient relationships, ensuring safety, and delivering high-quality nursing care through both in-person and telecommunication strategies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and clarifying patient needs.
  • Performing clinical procedures and conducting health education.
  • Advocating for patients while coordinating care with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Helping patients navigate the healthcare system and evaluating their outcomes.

The ideal candidate will possess a current NYS Registered Nurse license, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and will have previous nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting.
You should also be committed to continuing education and quality improvement.

We expect our nurses to create a compassionate environment via active listening and kindness, while also demonstrating service excellence in all interactions.
Collaboration with colleagues and maintaining a safe and respectful environment for diverse patient populations is essential.

Your standards of practice will include:

  • Thorough assessment of patient health.
  • Individualized planning and intervention.
  • Coordinating care with patients, families, and community resources for safe transitions.
  • Delivering educational guidance matching patients' culture and readiness to learn.
