Locum Hospitalists need near Mount Vernon, NY to pick up shifts on a PRN basis.

  • BC/BE Internal or Family Medicine
  • Schedule: 7a-7p & 7p-7a
  • Acute Hospital
  • Hospital Beds: 35
  • Open ICU w/ 6 Beds
  • Average Day/Night Census: 20
  • Average Day/Night Admits: 3
  • Shift responsibilities: All unassigned admissions and covering ICU w/ Tele-ICU Back-up
  • Hospitalist will respond with RRT and responsible for running codes.
  • No Procedures; Central Line Insertion is a plus
  • # Day Providers: 1 MD, 1 APP
  • # Night Providers: 1 MD
  • EMR: All Scripts - Plan to switch to Epic 6/2024
  • Active NY License, DEA, ACLS Required
  • Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days
  • $1250 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.
  • $Competitive Hourly pay + housing + travel + A rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
