Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ED)
Location: ER at Spanish Springs - Sparks, NV (May float between 3 FED locations)Shift: 12-Hour Night Shift (1845-0715) | Hours/Week: 36
Contract Period: 06/02/2025 - 08/30/2025
Requirements:
- Active RN license in practicing state/district (required).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (all required).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Room (required); Cerner EMR proficiency (required).
- Education: Graduate of accredited/NLN-approved RN program (BSN highly preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Deliver acute care for diverse patient populations, including trauma, pediatric, psych, and critical care cases.
- Perform advanced interventions: medication titrations, arterial line management, mass transfusions, and chest tube care.
- Coordinate rapid assessments, stabilization, and transitions of high-acuity patients in a fast-paced ED environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and positive experiences.
Additional Details:
- Must reside 100+ miles from facility.
- No on-call requirement, but optional shifts available.
- Weekly time sheets, Sunday start day.
