Casa Real in beautiful Santa Fe, New Mexico, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a short-term assignment. This is a fantastic opportunity for travel nurses or local LPNs seeking a flexible but impactful role in a supportive long-term care environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with facility policies and under the supervision of an RN or physician.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Document nursing interventions, observations, and responses in the electronic health record.
- Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being and report significant changes promptly.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and resident assessments as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support comprehensive resident care plans.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in New Mexico (or compact license).
- CPR certification (current and valid).
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience preferred, especially in long-term care or skilled nursing.
- Excellent clinical judgment, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
