The Rehab and Nursing Center - Leffingwell was designed with healing in mind. The center offers 80 private rooms with beautiful nature views. Our expert team of nurses and therapists use the latest technology and techniques to maximize independence and mobility to help prepare patients to return home.
Scope of Work
Using tools of consulting, mentoring, coaching and interprofessional collaboration, the nurse educator facilitates the professional role development and growth of nurses and other healthcare personnel along the continuum from novice to expert. Functions in the roles of change agent, mentor, facilitator of learning, leader, champion of scientific inquiry (application of research, evidence based practice and improvement science), and partner for clinical practice transitions.
Qualifications
Required
- BSN
- 5 years of relevant experience related to area of focus
- RN state of MI upon hire
- BLS from AHA or ARC within 90 days
- Obtain nursing administration or professional/specialty certification within 12 months of assuming the role, or within 12 months of achieving eligibility to sit for the exam if not eligible upon hire in to the role.
Preferred
- MSN in Nursing Education or Adult Education
- Education and program development experience
