Medical Assistant

Job Title: Medical Assistant I

Duration: 3 Months

Location: Plymouth MN 55442

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work in between Plymouth and Minnetonka
• Flexible start and end work hours.
• Always maintains confidentiality at all times
• Monthly AED checks. Wellness promotion prep and support.
• Excel/Outlook/clerical experience.
• Performs all daily Opening and Closing procedures correctly and independently.
• Schedules meetings and conference calls.
• Filing and maintaining medical records according to Client medical records policy.
• Performing accurate, legal, ethical documentation at all times.
• Front and back office support.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Regularly checks for adequate stock of forms and reorders, copies and stocks additional forms as needed to ensure an adequate supply is on hand at all times.
• Can assess nature of employee's question and promptly refer incoming calls to the correct staff member for resolution.
• Audit medical records and refer to appropriate staff member for action.
• First aid/CPR.
• Demonstrates understanding of medical surveillance/PPE requirements.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Learn and understand additional software require for job performance.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or GED
• Medical Assistant certification, plus 0-2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. 0-2 years of related training and experience as a Medical Assistant
