LEAD ENGINEER, CONTROLS STSTEMS ENGINEERThe Role:
Our site in Aurora, Illinois is seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer, Control Systems Engineer to join our global control systems team.
This role focuses on OT instrumentation, control networks, and cyber vulnerability mitigation.
Our team supports the company's largest product lines and spearheads strategic automation initiatives, including new product commercialization, innovative process technology implementation, and the development of automation strategies across our four global manufacturing sites.
As a batch chemical manufacturer serving the semiconductor industry, we require the highest standards of quality and control.
The engineer in this role will play a crucial part in maintaining and enhancing these standards through continuous improvement and the adoption of new technologies.

This position offers the opportunity to gain expertise in the Rockwell and GE process control suites, including the development of batch manufacturing recipes, statistical process controls, and the automation of process data collection and analysis.
What You'll Do:
Develop Tenable OT configurations in conjunction with the IT Cyber teamEnsure Tenable appliance is configured to capture all devices and traffic within the OT environmentDevelop SOP's on how to deploy and configure Tenable OT and other Cyber applications in alignment with ISA99/62443Manage global review and remediation processesWork with the global sites to develop remediation responses to risks based on IT Cyber policies, while protecting plant up timeWork to continuously improve our Cyber position through innovative solutions and practicesMaintain Entegris and Industry standardsStay informed of Entegris Cyber policiesEstablish working relationships with the IT Cyber teamRemain educated on regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry best practices (ISA).Lead automation activities for new products and processes being commercializedExpert advice into process design, P&ID, and instrument positioning/installationSpecification of instrumentation in conjunction with process engineer and internal standardsCreate I/O lists and define/document industrial network infrastructureWork with control systems engineers and process engineers to build SCADA screens using iFix softwareSimulation testing of new automation programs (SCADA/PLC)Commissioning new process - loop testing, troubleshooting, alarm/interlock validationProduction support as expert backup to site engineersOn-call when site engineer on PTOAddressing more complex issues or problemsWorking on plant floor as needed to fix problems or startup new equipmentProvide expertise and ideas around global automation strategy, best practices, and technology evolutionDevelop instrumentation capability through-out Entegris by providing training, mentoring and feedback to othersMaintaining master I/O lists, licensing, and critical drawingsWhat We Seek:

Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical)Preferably three to five years' experience, or more, in security systems administration, with two or more years' risk management experience.At least 5 years hands-on engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably batch(ISA88) or specialty chemical manufacturingDemonstrated troubleshooting skills and root cause identificationAbility to lead design efforts on multiple assignments of varying complexity including implementation of new products & processesCommunication and cross-functional teamworkRequired experience:

• Compensation:
