Position: RN Night Shift Supervisor
Weekend Differential: $3.00 an hour*
Full Time
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday or Monday - Friday
Hours: 10:30 PM - 7:00 AM
Sign-On Bonus: $3000.00
Position Summary
As our RN Night Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in planning, organizing, and directing nursing staff to ensure the highest quality of resident care at all times. You will collaborate with clinical leadership to manage nursing operations during your shift.
Essential Functions, Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing department operations as the shift supervisor, including:
- Supervising direct nursing staff across all units to ensure quality care and exceptional service to residents.
- Monitoring staffing levels, creating schedules, and securing coverage as necessary.
- Functioning as a staff nurse as needed.
- Conducting clinical rounds to ensure all tasks are completed and the department is well-maintained.
- Overseeing the accuracy of resident records.
- Communicating any issues or concerns with the clinical leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations as well as organizational policies and procedures.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of all resident information.
- Assist with the admission process for new residents, including room preparation and communication with families.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to all policies and updates.
Position Requirements
Education: Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
Licenses/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in practicing state.
Experience: 3+ years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in geriatrics.
Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy when working with residents.
- Anticipate and meet the needs of residents and staff proactively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Travel: N/A
Compensation: Min: USD $40.00/Hr. Max: USD $45.00/Hr.
