The Fulfillment Manager - Mailroom Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of a high-volume mailroom. This role involves leading mailroom logistics, inventory of supplies, distribution of mail and packages, and ensuring timely and accurate processing. The manager will optimize mailroom workflows, supervise a team, and maintain strong collaboration with internal departments to meet operational standards and client needs effectively and efficiently.

Duties & Responsibilities:


Fulfillment Management:
Oversee all fulfillment operations, including inventory management, order processing, distribution, and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services and products.
Process Optimization:
Continuously assess and improve fulfillment processes and workflows to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high levels of service quality.
Team Leadership:
Lead, supervise, and develop a team of fulfillment specialists, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and resources to meet performance goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with sales, customer support, and other departments to align fulfillment operations with business objectives and customer expectations.
Performance Monitoring:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fulfillment, such as delivery times, order accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Use data to identify areas for improvement.
Issue Resolution:
Address and resolve any fulfillment-related issues or delays, ensuring that customers are notified promptly and that corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence.
Inventory Control:
Oversee inventory levels and manage replenishment to ensure there are no service disruptions. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
Reporting:
Prepare regular reports on fulfillment performance, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities for process improvements.
Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure that fulfillment operations meet or exceed customer expectations by maintaining a high standard of quality and responsiveness.
Compliance & Best Practices:
Ensure all fulfillment processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
Leadership Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage a team to achieve business goals.
Operational Expertise:
In-depth knowledge of fulfillment processes, including inventory management, logistics, distribution, and order fulfillment.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions to ensure smooth operations.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyze data and performance metrics to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Focused:
A commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and ensuring fulfillment processes align with customer expectations.
Communication Skills:
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, give feedback, and collaborate with other teams.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency with fulfillment-related software (e.g., warehouse management systems, order processing platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in fulfillment, logistics, or operations management, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
