Responsibilities
As a NICU Nurse, your primary responsibilities will include
- Operating daily operations of the NICU department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care are consistently met.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective patient care plans.
- Providing leadership and direction to the team, promoting the highest standards of professional conduct and patient care.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
- Responding to emergency situations promptly and effectively.
- Managing patient admissions and discharges, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
To be considered for the role of NICU Nurse, candidates must possess the following qualifications
- A current and valid California RN License.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in NICU.
- A patient-centered approach, with a strong commitment to providing the highest standards of care.
- A current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within the first 12 months.
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest advancements in healthcare.
