Solventum Purification & Filtration business

We are pleased to announce that Solventum has entered into a definitive agreement to sell our Purification & Filtration business to Thermo Fisher Scientific.
This transaction is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions, receipt of regulatory approvals, and country specific information and consultation needs where required.
This is a significant milestone for the P&F business and will allow for the strategic investment and resources needed for sustaining growth and delivering customer solutions.

Until then, Solventum will continue to operate as a unified entity, and employment is subject to all applicable terms and conditions as set forth in our employment agreement and company policies.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a(n) Advanced Process Engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leads teams locally and internationally to achieve goals in technology and processes development
• Implements optimizations for improving processes within area of responsibility
• Determines bottlenecks and limitations for improving production capability
• Supports multifunctional teams with qualification, investment and sourcing projects implementation
• Implements system solutions for streamlining production processes

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher (Chemical and Process Engineering, Management and Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics and Process Automation)

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• 2+ years of experience optimizing processes (mixing, coating and converting processes would be the most preferred)
• Knowledge of conducting process and product qualifications
• Advanced English (oral and written)
• Machines and devices technical knowledge
• Demonstrated problem solving, aptitude and analytical skills

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical and Process Engineering from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated working knowledge with various optimization methodologies and tools
• Knowledge of technical investments implementation process
• MiniTab, Microsoft Excel expertise
• Power BI, BMS, SCADA/Historian knowledge is a plus
• Skills include excellent written and oral communication

Travel:
May include up to 1% (domestic/international)
