Job Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role inassistingthe sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating customer interactions, and ensuring seamless sales operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support
- Prepare and process sales orders, quotes, and invoices.
- Maintainaccuratesales records, customer accounts, and CRM databases.
- Assistin tracking sales performance and preparing sales reports.
- Manage calendars and schedule meetings for the sales team.
Customer Service & Communication
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product/service information.
- Assistin resolving customer complaints or issuesin a timely manner.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g.,logistics, finance) to ensure order fulfillment.
- Follow up with clientsregardingorder status, payments, and renewals.
Sales Coordination & Support
- Help prepare sales presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.
- Assistin lead generation by researching potential clients and market trends.
- Support sales representatives by managing follow-ups and outreach efforts.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, product availability, and pricing updates.
Process & System Optimization
- Identifyopportunities to improve sales processes and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Assistwith trainingnew salesteam members on tools and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in sales support, customer service, or administration.
- Proficiencyin CRM software, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
