Position Summary
Join On Air's expert product and engineering team in Baarn, The Netherlands, as a Frontend Developer driving the future of premium streaming across on web. We're looking for a highly skilled, solutions-oriented developer to help evolve and scale Web apps across desktop and mobile, as we set new standards in immersive concert streaming.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and is enthusiastic about exploring how tools like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or AI-powered linting, testing, and refactoring assistants can improve code quality and speed of delivery. While we are early in this transition, we welcome developers with a passion for integrating AI into their workflow and a willingness to help drive that culture forward.
You'll collaborate closely with design, backend, and product teams to build performant, beautiful, and scalable applications used by fans worldwide to engage with live performances.

Please note that for this position:
We are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship, and candidates must already be residing in the Netherlands.
This is a full-time, in-office position in Baarn, requiring presence five days per week.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain modern, high-performance front-end components using React.js and Next.js.
Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into fully functional, pixel-perfect code.
Identify and resolve performance issues and bugs to maintain a seamless user experience.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code using modern best practices and tooling.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Conduct code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of the front-end codebase and team culture.
Use (or explore the use of) AI development assistants to enhance code quality, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize build processes.

Skills and experience
5++ years of experience working in a frontend development role.
Strong proficiency in React.js experience with Next.js is a plus (SSR, ISG).
Hands-on experience with state management libraries such as Zustand or Redux.
Solid understanding of function-based components, React hooks, and reusable component architecture.
Familiarity with REST APIs, GraphQL.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and cross-functional product teams.
A strong interest in using AI-enhanced tools to support code generation, testing, linting, and documentation.
Comfortable using modern front-end tooling such as Webpack, Babel, ESLint, and Prettier.
