Vaccine Account Manager (Adult Vaccines)
The Vaccine Account Manager (Adult Vaccines) will successfully manage vaccine products across the assigned territory/region by engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
This role entails delivering patient-focused detailing tailored for healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring timely availability of products for patients, supporting product formulary enlisting, and ensuring expedited access in key accounts.
The candidate will assist the Sales Head and First Line Sales Leader (FLSL) in designing and implementing commercial strategies to deliver performance through an end-to-end solutions-driven approach to account management.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic territory plans aligned with commercial goals, providing tailored solutions as a trusted advisor to healthcare professionals (HCPs) while driving disease and product awareness through frequent and impactful engagements.
Monitor product performance and availability, coordinating with supply chain, trade channels, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery, end-to-end patient solutions, product tracking, and shelf-life management.
Support operational plans and campaign rollouts by securing necessary medical and regulatory approvals and addressing market-specific needs.
Collaborate with market access teams to implement access strategies, build relationships with scientific societies and Key External Experts (KEEs), and focus efforts through market segmentation and targeted approaches.
Maintain compliance with organizational codes, policies, legal requirements, and governance processes, fostering transparency and integrity in business relationships.
Optimize resources, manage budgets effectively, and align activities with cross-functional teams using customer insights to ensure coordinated execution of commercial strategies.
Scope & Accountability:
Manage Vaccine Innovative Products across a broad territory while collaborating with team members to align strategies with commercial objectives and share knowledge.
Develop and implement area business plans based on priority risks and opportunities, utilizing resources to maximize performance and adherence to GSK's ways of working.
Ensure product supply by coordinating with supply and Commercial Trade Channel (CTC) teams for timely delivery and order fulfillment, supported by robust demand forecasting and vaccination tracking per account.
Establish and maintain long-term collaborative partnerships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and key accounts, expediting access timelines, managing formulary enlisting, and driving improved patient access.
Monitor territory performance using Lead Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while identifying opportunities for commercial and business development through strategic awareness of external and internal environments.
Basic Qualifications/Experience
Experience in Kuwait is required.
Medical or Pharmacy degree with a minimum of 3 years' experience in the pharmaceutical field.
Experienced in managing different business sectors (Private & Public) with a deep understanding of the access landscape and product enlisting.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate high-quality, complicated scientific content.
Ability to manage a larger geographical territory with a proven record of good performance against agreed KPIs and high-quality implementation.
Well-developed understanding of the forecast cycle and how to manage different stakeholders within the supply process, including distributor relations and the tender process.
Strong commercial acumen, including sound business analytics, business case development, and commercial modelling.
High commitment to ethical, values-based management.
Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
Resilient, self-motivated, and persistent, able to meet deadlines and be effective under pressure.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Vaccine experience preferred.
