Piccola Cucina IT is seeking a Culinary Instructor to host our intimate cooking experiences! As the culinary instructor, you will be teaching our customers basic culinary techniques and recipes.
Plan, develop, and carry out lessons for our customers visiting Florence and looking for an unforgettable and one of a kind experience.
This is an opportunity to be creative and create amazing food. You will need to maintain an organized and inviting kitchen while accommodating the many and varied levels of culinary abilities of our customers. Core Teaching Responsibilities:
• Lead intimate pasta-making classes (max 6 participants)
• Demonstrate traditional pasta-making techniques
• Teach proper use of pasta-making tools and equipment
• Explain Italian culinary terminology and traditions
• Guide students through hands-on pasta creation
• Provide individual attention and troubleshooting
• Share cultural and historical context of Italian pasta-making
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
• Master various pasta types and shapes
• Perfect dough preparation and consistency
• Execute traditional sauce preparations
• Maintain proper food safety and hygiene standards
• Knowledge of wine pairings and Italian ingredients
• Understanding of dietary restrictions and alternatives
• Proficiency in using traditional pasta-making tools
• HACCP certificate
Experience Design:
• Create an engaging and warm atmosphere
• Incorporate storytelling into instruction
• Ensure proper timing and flow of 5-hour classes
• Previous experience cooking for private events
• Maintain the elegant atmosphere of the palazzo setting
• Tablescape preparation
• Support photography moments during classes
Quality Control:
• Ensure consistency in recipe execution
• Maintain high standards for ingredients
• Monitor equipment condition and cleanliness
• Verify quality of take-home materials
• Uphold premium experience standards
• Follow proper food storage protocols
• Maintain organized workspace
Customer Service:
• Welcome and orient guests
• Address participant questions and concerns
• Adapt teaching style to different skill levels
• Provide clear, patient instruction

Administrative:
