Senior Consultant, Life Sciences & Healthcare Recruitment @AmicusA well-established and highly regarded care organisation with a network of facilities across several counties in Ireland is seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Nursing Manager to join their team at their welcoming facility in Dublin. The Opportunity:
This role offers a fantastic chance for a motivated nurse manager to further their career within a growing organisation. The successful candidate will be an organised and proactive individual who is passionate about enhancing resident well-being and leading care teams towards excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional and managerial support and leadership within the nursing home.
- Serve as a positive and visible role model, promoting high standards of care.
- Offer effective clinical and professional leadership aligned with the organisation's values.
- Provide line management and support the development of clinical nursing and care teams.
- Contribute to the delivery of exceptional care through resident and staff engagement, clinical supervision, and accountability.
- Develop innovative approaches to guide and mentor nursing teams, fostering leadership skills and supporting succession planning.
- Deputise for the Director of Nursing as needed.
- Assist in identifying service needs and developing plans in collaboration with the Director of Nursing and management.
- Ensure the efficient and appropriate use of resources.
- Undertake other duties as required.

What We Are Looking For:
- Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Demonstrable nursing management experience within an elder care setting.
- A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory standards and governance within a nursing home environment.
- Proven management experience with a strong track record.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Sound decision-making abilities and a results-oriented approach.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
- A qualification or experience in Gerontology and/or Dementia is desirable.
