The Opportunity:
This role offers a Solicitor with 2 years' PQE the chance to work on a diverse range of funds matters, providing exposure to the establishment of innovative sustainable investment funds and advising international asset managers on their Irish fund structures.
You'll be involved in advising on fund formation, regulatory compliance, and ongoing operational matters for a variety of fund types.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior lawyers in advising on the structuring and establishment of investment funds (UCITS, AIFs, etc.).
- Draft and review fund documentation, including prospectuses, supplements, and constitutive documents.
- Advise clients on regulatory requirements and compliance matters under Irish and EU funds legislation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, fund service providers, and clients.
- Assist with fund restructurings, mergers, and liquidations.
- Contribute to the team's knowledge management and business development initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2 years' PQE gained in Investment Funds law within a reputable law firm.
- Solid understanding of Irish and EU funds legislation (e.g., UCITS, AIFMD).
- Strong drafting and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive and commercially aware approach.
