About the Role
Islandbridge have a mandate to hire another Associate Client Accountant to work within the Family Office Team on key client relationships. The role is based at their offices in London's West End.

Islandbridge Family Office
The Family Office Team works side by side with the investment team in the role of integrating the wider purpose, operations and reporting of our clients. The Team advises clients' on managing complex balance sheets, liquidity, treasury, risk, financing, operations and strategic initiatives. Day to day, the team also takes responsibility to implement the advice with transfers & payments, investment execution, structuring and reporting. The team manage banking relationships directly in the UK and US and work with some of the top global tax and legal advisors.
Principal Responsibilities
Treasury & Payments
- Instructing payments in a secure and controlled environment.
- Manage, coordinate and assist with client treasury and associated projects (including bank account openings, cash yield enhancement, foreign currency purchases).
- Monitoring client liquidity and planning for upcoming commitments.
- Monthly credit card analysis.
Reporting
- Collating statements and investment documentation.
- Updating client reporting databases.
- Preparation of extensive quarterly client report presentations (using software such as Addepar).
- Completing bank account reconciliations (Xero).
- Monthly expense tracking and budgeting.
Investments
- Preparation of investment subscriptions and related compliance requirements.
- Review capital calls and distributions. Ensure accurate and timely notification, reconciliation of incoming funds, and delivery of funds to the relevant third party/parties.
Tax
- Gather, prepare, and coordinate large volumes of client tax data and documentation.
- Regularly liaising with tax advisors and investment managers.
Projects & Other
- Assisting with high value client projects (including large asset purchases, setting up Private Foundations, annual giving, estate and succession planning, carbon footprint analysis and offsetting).
- Liaising with a number of third party advisors on behalf of the client (banks, lawyers, philanthropic advisors etc.).
- Provision of information for client KYC/AML requests.
Individual Attributes and Requirements
- Developed and proven core skills in accounting, administration and high frequency/ high accuracy system usage and build.
- Product and market knowledge would be advantageous BUT is something that where the candidate has a growth mind-set - the team can help develop.
- Highly numerate with financial awareness and qualitative & quantitative skills.
- The ability to work both as part of a small team and independently.
- Conscientious, relentless, resilient and excellent attention to detail.
- Obsessed with delivering exceptional service to our Clients.
- Strong communication skills and a natural client-facing demeanour.
