What you’ll do as Field Service Engineer:

As Field Service Engineer you’ll be responsible for carrying out valve repairs for the Company and our customers this can be on-site, or offshore.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

Provide front-line technical advice and solutions for our customers.
You will be required to respond to our customers on call requirements, this will be to Worldwide offshore, and, UK locations.
Carry out the on-site disassembly/assembly and testing of all types of valves, actuators and associated instrumentation in accordance with the company's/customers' QA/QC and Health and Safety procedures.
What you’ll need as Field Service Engineer:

Higher National Certificates/Diplomas or equivalent from college and an Engineering Apprenticeship.
High level of competence on a range of Valves (Control, Choke, Butterfly, Isolation and PSV), Actuators and Instrumentation.
Experience of working on customers sites is essential.
Capability of working with technical/problematic valves and be able to establish a way forward/solution that is acceptable by both the customer and Severn Technical department.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
