We’re currently looking for dedicated Support Workers to join a thriving extra care service in Hull (HU3) for a short-term, full-time assignment (4–6 weeks) – with excellent pay and immediate starts available.
💼 The Role
You’ll be providing care and re-enablement support to people of all ages, helping them live as independently as possible in their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:
• Building trusting, therapeutic relationships with service users
• Delivering personal and practical care with dignity and respect
• Following structured care plans tailored to individual needs
• Working collaboratively with families, professionals, and other agencies
• Ensuring high standards of customer care and safeguarding at all times
✅ What We’re Looking For
• Minimum 1 year of UK-based experience supporting older people
• NVQ Level 2 or higher in Social Care (desirable)
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (desirable)
• Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Two professional references (including your most recent employer)
• Car driver/owner (desirable but not essential)
⏰ Shifts & Pay
• Full-time – 37.5 hours/week, on a flexible rota including evenings, weekends & public holidays
• Pay Rates:
• Weekdays: £15.80/hour
• Nights & Weekends: £16.00/hour
