Chief Consultant Advisory - Wind Turbine and Electrical As our new Wind Turbine Chief Consultant, you will be part of our global Offshore Wind Advisory team.
You will engage with various stakeholders supporting project development across all stages, from early conceptual design until project execution and package management.
You will support in shaping and enhancing our service deliverables.
You will also play a pivotal role in the development, design, installation, and commissioning of wind turbine electrical systems for wind energy projects.
Leveraging your expertise in electrical engineering and renewable energy, you will contribute to the development and optimization of wind farm projects and wind turbine systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Your tasks and responsibilities As part of the Offshore Wind Advisory team, you will contribute to multidisciplinary project teams delivering complex offshore wind projects and be part of our Wind Turbine technology-dedicated team.
Your responsibilities include:
1.
Supporting and leading relevant work packages for wind turbine scopes, ensuring compliance with project specifications, regulations, and industry standards; helping clients select suitable technical concepts based on site conditions, local market requirements, and risk appetite.
2.
Providing expert guidance and strategic advice on wind turbine electrical systems, supporting clients in developing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions, and addressing technical challenges.
3.
Delivering technical due diligence for large finance transitions, taking responsibility for the wind turbine scope.
4.
Managing wind turbine package roles within Owner's Engineer services, including interface, program, risk, and change management, supporting multidisciplinary project teams.
5.
Coordinating with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure system integration and functionality during project execution.
6.
Leading technical preparation, coordination, and management of wind turbine scope tenders, including review and technical evaluation of offers.
7.
Supporting standardization initiatives to develop modular technical requirements for contracting, and preparing technical specifications, manuals, and procedures.
8.
Maintaining accurate documentation and reports related to activities.
9.
Providing training and mentorship to team members, fostering continuous learning and professional growth.
Minimum qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in wind projects; experience in electrical system design, installation, and commissioning is advantageous.
• Extensive experience in offshore wind project development, execution, and operation, ideally in a project developer or Owner's Engineer role.
• Strong industry knowledge, including design, engineering, project economics, interfaces, risks, and commercial aspects of offshore wind farms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage timelines.
• Experience in negotiating complex construction contracts is beneficial.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation related to offshore construction.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Effective collaboration, interpersonal, and leadership skills in diverse teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions aligned with company goals.
• Proven ability to present technical options to clients, including cost evaluations.
