Tax Compliance Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to support our office in Madrid. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate filing of all tax obligations, preparation of CIT provisions, and assistance with tax audits and communications with the relevant authorities.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate income tax (CIT), value-added tax (VAT), withholding taxes, stamp duty, and business activity tax.
- Ensure that all tax obligations are met in a timely and accurate manner, prepare CIT provisions, and provide assistance with tax audits and communications with the relevant authorities.
- Prepare writs for submission to the relevant authorities.
- Analyze tax topics related to corporate entities and provide advisory services to mitigate tax risks.
Key Requirements :
- Degree in Law, Economics, or Business Administration.
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar position or tax advisory firm / Big4.
- Knowledge of EU tax environment; knowledge of German tax environment is an asset.
- Advanced English language skills (written and spoken); knowledge of German is an asset.
Candidate Profile :
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, be able to work accurately and efficiently under pressure, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will also be self-motivated and proactive, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
