The Opportunity
Reporting to the R&D Managing Director, the Quality Director will lead efforts to ensure compliance with internal and industry standards. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of excellence, and enhancing customer satisfaction. The Quality Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address quality issues, implement best practices, and achieve operational efficiency.
What you'll get to do
- Manage supplier evaluation, audits, action plans and quality agreements
- Manage supplier quality performance
- Manage product quality from warehouse to end consumer
- Management of complaints and market non-conformities
- Develop and implement customer quality strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain to address quality issues and establish quality objectives
- Conduct risk assessments and implement plans to mitigate identified risks associated with product quality
- Manage quality projects and establish quality metrics and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Pilot the quality integration of new businesses
We'd love to meet you if you have
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the cosmetics industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry-specific quality standards and practices
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field + Master's degree or MBA is preferred
- Fluent in English and Spanish. French would be a plus
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies
- Proven track record of successfully implementing quality improvement initiatives
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in quality management tools and data analysis
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, GMP, etc.)
