We are currently seeking a Senior Cost Control Engineer to join our team based in Barcelona, Spain.
About the job :
- Sets up Cost Control Procedures
- Sets up Budgets and the specific tool to follow the project costs
- Estimates Total Forecasts, Quantity / Costs and Expected Outcomes (CAPEX follow-up)
- Provides support to the Risk Manager to prepare the Quantitative Risk Analysis
- Approves commitment control and vendor / subcontractors invoice
- Assists Project Managers in optimizing and improving the budgeted profits
- Prepares change orders / claims, and follows up
- Generates monthly internal Project Management Review (PMR) / external status reports (client reports)
- Develops cash flows on a monthly basis
- Develops statistical and close-out reports, with a view towards improving feedback data and estimation tools on future contracts / proposals
- Complies with and implements both company and client HSE Management System objectives and procedures, as well as Quality standards and policies, and other applicable company procedures
Requirements :
- Degree in Engineering
- Previous experience of minimum 6 years in Cost
- Experience in the O&G sector
- Experience in CAPEX monitoring
- Interest in learning about the area
- Fluent in English and Spanish (minimum B2)
- Fluent in French will be a plus
- Good knowledge of other Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
