QbD Group, a specialized consultancy company, partner of life sciences companies. We globally support our clients in the development, transformation and integral management of the life cycle of their products and services, resulting in a premium service of high quality consulting, always for the benefit of patients and consumers worldwide.
To expand our services and offerings within Spain, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager with a proven track record to join our Spanish commercial team. The location of the position can be from Madrid or Barcelona.
Do you have a network in the vibrant life science industry and are a hero in building strong relationships with key decision makers? Do you have experience with selling high value Expert Services and Projects? Then this position might be a match!
What will be your responsibilities?
Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and expand the business in Spain.
Prospect, identify and evaluate new business opportunities with new and existing customers in the region. The focus is on developing key accounts for long-term consulting positions and selling project-based services that include a mix of expertise.
Build new and expand existing client relationships across multiple functions with key decision makers at C-level and operational level.
Build long-term customer relationships and strategic business partnerships to support clients from idea to patient. Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries, and propose creative solutions promptly.
Establish and manage a pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales targets.
Manage the full sales process from lead identification to contracting, with accurate follow-up in the CRM system.
Evaluate complex questions, break them into manageable parts, and guide the customer from idea to patient.
Manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally.
Expand your network in the life sciences sector by actively participating in networking associations.
Build your internal network within QbD, collaborating with consultants, sales colleagues, HR, marketing, etc. We do sales together, with you leading!
Who are we looking for?
You have a master's degree in a scientific field, combined with at least 10-15 years of experience, commercial flair, and common sense.
You have a proven track record developing mid-level and senior customer contacts.
You are fluent in Spanish & English; knowledge of French is a plus.
The medical device/pharma/biotech world is your passion, and you can discuss technical topics. Knowledge of quality standards, GMP environments, and developments in cell & gene sectors is advantageous.
You can engage clients across various activities crucial for bringing products to market: clinical, regulatory, quality systems, validation, communication.
You possess self-confidence, communicate smoothly, actively listen, show patience, and focus on long-term partnerships.
You are comfortable with tools and systems; accurate CRM follow-up is important.
You communicate clearly and raise concerns timely.
