BI-Entwickler*in (IBM Cognos Analytics) für den Aufbau eines Forschungsinformationssystems (m/w/d)
Das Dezernat für Hochschulentwicklung und Strategie betreibt für die RUB seit 2009 ein Data-Warehouse-System, das inzwischen zu einem der umfangreichsten und am weitesten entwickelten Systeme dieser Art in der deutschen Hochschullandschaft zählt. Es enthält umfangreiche Daten, unter anderem zu Personal, Finanzen, Studierenden, Prüfungen, Flächen, Bewerber*innen und ist die Basis unseres Informationsmanagement-Systems (IMS). Das bestehende System wird unter Berücksichtigung der Anforderungen aus dem Kerndatensatz Forschung (KDSF) um ein Forschungsinformationssystem (FIS) erweitert mit dem Ziel, 2027 automatisiert Daten für den Landesforschungsbericht NRW zu liefern.

- Sie gestalten die Implementierung des FIS in das IMS der RUB (basierend auf IBM Cognos Analytics).
- Sie arbeiten gemeinsam mit der Projektleitung aktiv in fachlichen Arbeitsgruppen mit und bringen Ideen (z.B. zur Visualisierung oder technischen Umsetzung) ein.
- Sie unterstützen beim Aufbau eines neuen Erfassungstools für Drittmittelprojektdaten unter Berücksichtigung der Anforderungen des KDSF.
- Sie entwerfen und dokumentieren, gemeinsam im Team, Schnittstellen zu datenliefernden Systemen und analysieren Datenstrukturen in den Liefersystemen.
- Sie binden in Zusammenarbeit mit den IT-Kolleg*innen und als Teil des bestehenden IMS-Teams Publikationsdaten aus der Hochschulbibliografie und Drittmittelprojektdaten an das IMS an.
- Sie visualisieren Daten, entwickeln und pflegen Reports und Dashboards, insbesondere im Feld der Forschungsinformationen.
- Sie haben ein Hochschulstudium abgeschlossen.
- Sie verfügen über berufliche Erfahrungen im Wissenschaftssystem, vorzugsweise im Bereich der Forschungsförderung oder des Wissenschaftsmanagements.
- Sie besitzen grundlegende Kenntnisse in BI-Tools und -Plattformen sowie der Datenmodellierung.
- Sie haben Erfahrung in der Erstellung von Dashboards und Berichten zur Datenvisualisierung.
- Sie verfügen über gute Kommunikations- und Teamfähigkeiten.
- Sie arbeiten selbstständig und strukturiert.
- Sie verfügen über gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.
