JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Director of Operational Excellence, Sales and Customer Relations, the Technical Representative promotes our Omega and Metaltech products to specifiers, contractors, engineers, architects and landscape architects in Quebec and Canada. It promotes and demonstrates the value of our Omega II fencing systems, Metaltech guardrails and related products. He provides training and solves technical questions. His objectives: to have our products specified in calls for tender and to guarantee their successful integration into projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical Product Specifications
• Prospecting: Identify and contact potential new customers directly.
• Customer Engagement: Meet with engineering, architectural and landscaping firms to promote our products and share best practices.
• Training: Conduct technical training sessions to ensure optimal use and in-depth understanding of our products.
• Product Specification: Ensure that our products are specified in calls for tender, facilitate their successful integration into projects and guarantee their performance in accordance with requirements.
• Personalized Advice: Offer customized solutions for each project, based on the customer's specific needs.
• Technical Assistance: Answer technical questions and provide solutions adapted to the concerns of professionals.
• Representation: Represent our products at trade shows.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering, sales and customer service teams.
• Special Projects: Participate in special projects according to company needs.

REQUIREMENTS, QUALITIES AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• University degree - any combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a manufacturing agent or in the technical specification of products or materials, ideally in the fields of architecture, landscaping or construction.
• Experience in product development is an asset.
• Sales, prospecting and customer listening skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Drive and perseverance.
• Persuasion, credibility and influence.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to read technical project plans.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite tools.
• Languages: Bilingualism in French and English.
• Must have access to a vehicle for travel.
• Be available occasionally outside normal working hours for trade shows or client meetings.
