As a Senior Benefits Analyst , you will play a vital role in supporting our client's group benefits consultant by managing financial reporting, analyzing plan performance, and ensuring the highest level of service for clients. You will collaborate with a team of professionals, handle complex benefits plans, and contribute to innovative solutions that enhance client satisfaction and optimize outcomes.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in the group benefits sector while working in a collaborative environment dedicated to delivering exceptional results for clients.
What You'll Do:
- Drive strategic impact - Perform annual renewal analysis and negotiate with carriers to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
- Analyze and optimize benefits plans - Conduct experience reporting, budget projections, and plan performance reviews.
- Shape the future of benefits - Contribute to the design and management of group medical, dental, life, disability, and special risk benefits.
- Provide expert guidance - Conduct market analyses, compare costs, and make strategic recommendations.
- Ensure seamless execution - Assist with carrier/product implementations and review benefit booklets and contracts for accuracy.
- Be a trusted partner - Build strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams to drive success.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in group benefits with a deep understanding of the Canadian benefits landscape.
- Financial acumen - Strong analytical skills and experience in benefits underwriting and financial reporting.
- Tech-savvy mindset - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Attention to detail - Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Collaboration & communication - A team player who thrives in both independent and cross-functional environments.
- Discretion & professionalism - Sensitivity to confidential information and a commitment to integrity.
