Key Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, gather requirements, and analyze customer behavior to inform design decisions.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups for web and mobile platforms.
- Design intuitive, visually compelling interfaces that align with our brand and enhance user experience.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Optimize existing UI/UX for better performance, accessibility, and conversion rates.
- Test and iterate on designs based on A/B testing, analytics, and user feedback.
- Maintain and evolve design systems, style guides, and UI components.
- Stay updated on eCommerce trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in computer science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design, preferably in an eCommerce or DTC environment.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
- Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions across web and mobile.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, usability principles, and accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts (coding not required but a plus).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to present ideas and feedback clearly.
- Experience with user testing, A/B testing, and data-driven design is an asset.
This is a full-time hybrid position based in Toronto.
