Relevant du Directeur Marketing, R&D et Aff. Règlementaires, le (la) développeur (e) de nouveaux produits à pour mandat de créer des nouveaux produits destinés au marché de détail nord-américain et principalement. Le (la) candidat(e) doit être passionné (e) par le développement de produits innovateurs, par les tendances en alimentaire et doit avoir un intérêt par les produits issus de la culture asiatique.
Notre client est une entreprise privée situé sur l'île de Montréal.
Responsabilités et tâches principales :
- Créer et développer des nouveaux produits et des nouvelles formulations; gérer les étapes de développement et la progression des projets en fonction des échéanciers.
- Gérer les projets de rénovations de produits actuels et les projets de réduction de coûts selon les échéanciers et les paramètres établis.
- Travailler avec l'équipe de Vente et de Marketing pour comprendre les besoins et exigences de nos clients et consommateurs et les intégrer lors du développement.
- Présenter les nouveaux concepts aux clients (en virtuel ou en présentiel) en collaborant étroitement avec l'équipe de vente.
- Organiser des dégustations, sur une base régulière, des produits de la concurrence qui se trouvent sur le marché de détail et de la restauration. Rédiger les rapports d'analyse des produits concurrentiels.
- Organiser des dégustations organoleptiques pour évaluer les nouveaux produits en cours de développement.
- Rencontrer des fournisseurs et rechercher des nouveaux ingrédients pour le développement de produits.
- Améliorer des produits existants et/ou l'emballage (packaging).
- Préparer les échantillons et la documentation (liste d'ingrédients, méthode de préparation) pour les envois aux clients.
- Rester à l'affût des tendances du marché en participant à des salons ou tout autre événement pertinent.
- Participer à tout autres projets spéciaux.
Conditions de travail :
- Temps plein, 40h/semaine, en présentiel.
- Doit être disponible pour voyager à l'extérieur de la province à l'occasion
- Salaire concurrentiel

Habiletés et qualifications :
Éducation/expérience :
- BAC en STA et/ou expérience de travail équivalente
- 5 ans d'expérience en développement de nouveaux produits alimentaires en milieu industriel
- Formation culinaire de chef-cuisinier (un atout)
- Connaissance des logiciels Word et Excel
- Bilinguisme : maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (parlés et écrits)
Connaissances/ aptitudes :
- Être créatif et innovateur
- Capacité de travailler sur plusieurs projets simultanément.
- Excellent sens de l'organisation, capacité à gérer plusieurs projets simultanément ainsi qu'à structurer une grande quantité d'information.
- Autonomie, initiative et débrouillardise
- Capacité d'adaptation au changement et au travail dans un milieu au rythme soutenu
