Description of Duties:
As a HSDE proposal writer Coordinator, your duties and responsibilities would typically include:
Assisting in researching funding opportunities, donor priorities, and proposal guidelines.
Drafting, editing, and formatting project proposals in line with organizational goals and funder requirements.
Collaborating with program staff to gather relevant data, outcomes, and narratives.
Ensuring proposals align with HSDE's mission, values, and strategic objectives.
Supporting the development of budgets, logical frameworks, and supporting documents.
Maintaining clear records of proposals submitted, deadlines, and outcomes.
Providing feedback and suggestions to improve proposal quality and competitiveness.
Skills Required:
Excellent written communication: Ability to write clearly, persuasively, and professionally for various audiences.
Research skills: Capable of identifying funding opportunities and analyzing donor requirements.
Grant/proposal writing experience (asset): Familiarity with nonprofit or development sector proposals is preferred.
