BET99 is Canada's Premiere Online Sportsbook and Casino. We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to turn our software into easy-to-use products for our customers. UI/UX Designer responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools. If you also have a portfolio of professional design projects that includes work with web/mobile applications, we'd like to meet you.
We are looking for team players who can deliver imaginative solutions under real deadline constraints. You will be a part of a team of professionals who are dedicated to the same mission. We push each other, learn from each other, and strive to grow continually. Ultimately, you'll create both functional and appealing features that address our client's needs and help us grow our customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with stakeholders and engineers
- Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets
- Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and wireframes)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors, and images
Skills and Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Figma, AdobeXD, Sketch, InVision, etc.)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Team spirit, strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Good time-management skills
- BSc in Design, Computer Science, or relevant field
Nice to have:
- Gaming-industry experience
- Experience with contest-logic design, sports, gaming, etc.
- Awareness of critical concepts of Agile principles
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Experience in App Store management, including updating listings and ensuring visibility.
