Our client is one of the leading insurance brokerages and is seeking an experienced Insurance Marketing Manager to join their team in Vancouver. If you're a dedicated insurance professional looking to take the next step in your career, this opportunity is for you.
What you will be doing:
- Act as liaison between staff and Account Executives to resolve issues requiring attention
- Perform annual staff performance reviews and provide recommendations when needed
- Collaborate with leadership to develop efficient workflow systems
- Review monthly reports to ensure timely account renewals
- Conduct process assessments across Commercial Insurance to implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead regular team meetings and provide training/mentoring to staff
- Perform periodic file audits to ensure procedures are followed
- Provide marketing and policy rating service to the Management team
- Liaise with Account Executives to discuss client needs and negotiate with insurers
- Support staff with policy coverage questions and technical underwriting information
What we are looking for:
- Minimum 7 years of Commercial Marketing experience
- General Insurance Agent Level 2 license or equivalent in your province
- Insurance designations (CAIB, CIP, CRM) considered an asset
- Exceptional client service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach
- Experience with broker management systems preferred
Salary range:
$100,000 to $125,000 based on experience
