Take the next step in your hospitality career with CAPO & The Spritz , a vibrant neighbourhood Italian restaurant and lounge located just off the lobby from OPUS Vancouver in the heart of Yaletown. We're looking for a passionate and hands-on Floor Manager to join our growing team. This full-time role offers $23-$25/hour, depending on experience.
Whether you're an experienced supervisor or a strong front-of-house team member ready to level up, this is an exciting opportunity to build your leadership skills in a fast-paced, professional, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across the restaurant and lounge, stepping in wherever needed
- Ensure smooth and efficient service with a guest-first mindset
- Lead and support front-of-house team members through training, motivation, and ongoing development
- Maintain high standards of service and assist in resolving guest concerns or operational issues in real time
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen, bar, and hotel teams to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Foster a respectful, team-oriented, and positive work environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting (supervisory experience is a strong asset)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A team-first approach with a desire to grow and lead
- Flexible availability - including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Familiarity with tools like Toast POS, OpenTable, and Microsoft Office is a plus
- Experience with Italian cuisine or boutique hotel operations considered an asset
