Contract Duration:
12 months with potential for extension up to 24 months
Are you passionate about designing cutting-edge digital solutions that make a real impact? We're seeking talented and forward-thinking Digital Architects to join a team driving large-scale service innovation and digital transformation initiatives across government programs.
About the Opportunity:
You'll work within cross-functional teams that tackle program reviews, product design, and digital modernization projects.
As the senior technical voice on the team, you'll provide architectural leadership, define technical strategy, and support the iterative delivery of innovative, user-centric services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide architecture decisions across multiple digital services, ensuring alignment with technical standards, coding practices, and platform strategies.
- Collaborate closely on backlog refinement, sprint planning, and solution execution.
- Lead the technical direction while balancing delivery between user needs and system design.
- Contribute to development work as needed to support agile delivery goals.
The candidate should be able to demonstrate, at minimum, the identified experience in the requirements mentioned below.
Relevant Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT or related field of study.
- Experience conveying technical information to non-technical people and advising decision-makers on technical options.
5 years - Experience in leading solution architecture and introducing the overall technical vision for a large-scale Enterprise projects with integrations between systems.
5 years - Experience leading and mentoring team(s) in agile principles, policies and procedures 5 years
- Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and the ability to leverage them to build scalable and resilient architectures.
2 years - Experience working as a software architect on complex software solutions in an agile team environment.
5 years - Experience working in software development across the full software development lifecycle 5 years
- Experience working with open source ecosystems such as Node.js/NPM.
5 years - Experience implementing DevSecOps in an enterprise environment 2 years
- Experience incrementally transforming existing legacy systems into modern digital services across multiple releases.
5 years - Experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions that use enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) hub architecture registries.
5 years - Experience working as a senior technical resource identifying and advocating technologies and approaches that lead to digital transformation in the public sector context.
5 years - Experience working with teams that also apply UX design, service design, design thinking, or human-centered design approaches.
2 years - Experience leading domain modelling and database schema design for transactional and reporting systems.
4 years - Experience working as an architect using data analytics tools and methodologies to derive insights from data 4 years
- Experience working with other architects and/or as part of cross-functional teams to identify efficiencies through common services, reusable components and application programming interfaces (APIs), and contribute to the overall architecture practice designing and implementing application programming interfaces (APIs) and system integrations.
