The Job
Our client-a leader in delivering critical, legacy technology solutions-is seeking a bilingual Solution Engineer to serve as a technical consultant for high-profile accounts in sectors such as banking and government.
In this role, you'll combine your technical knowledge with exceptional communication skills to engage directly with customers, guide pre-sales discussions, and provide expert advice on optimizing and maintaining legacy systems.
The focus is on delivering value through clear, customer-focused interactions, supported by your hands-on experience with mainframe technology, COBOL, JCL, databases, cloud platforms, Linux, and programming in Java.

About You
- Strong experience with mainframe technology, COBOL or JCL
- Background in pre-sales or consulting roles is an asset, but not required

- Technical foundation with experience in SQL & NoSQL databases (Oracle, MS, DB2), cloud technologies, and Linux environments
- Excellent communication skills that enable you to translate technical concepts into clear business value
- Self-starter, motivated, technically strong, and comfortable speaking and presenting to people
