Senior Business Development Manager

We are looking for tenacious, motivated, resilient individuals with a competitive mindset to build & deliver a diverse pipeline of Corporate and Blue-Chip clients.
In your role as Senior Business Development Manager, you will:
Proactively seek new business opportunities through cold calls, networking events, referrals, exhibitions, and partnershipsDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the client baseManage the entire 360-degree sales processMaintain knowledge of the FX market, compliance, legislative, and broader business/economic trends to anticipate and meet client needsUse market data and Convera's value proposition to identify new leads and opportunities to build a continuous pipelineAchieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue setting targetsUse sales tools like Salesforce, Highspot, and ZoomInfo to generate leadsIntroduce relevant support functions such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Corporate Hedging manager (CHM) and/or Sales Leaders/Heads of Desk to clientsManage new customers until they transition to the CRM TeamParticipate in industry events to promote solutions and network with potential clientsLead and influence negotiations with clients of large established organizations (i.
e.
, from the Owner of a start-up to the Finance Director or Chief Executive Officer), securing profitable agreementsTrack performance metrics to measure success, leveraging sales tool such as SalesforceRole can be located in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane or Perth & is a hybrid role.
You will ideally have:
5+ years of B2B sales experience in international payments or financial servicesMUST HAVE - To include 2+ years in FX (i.
, understanding of financial markets and their instruments, such as SPOT, FWDS & Derivatives)Proven ability to navigate gate keepers to reach and influence C-Suite level relationshipsStrong sales management, business acumen, and strategic account management skillsKnowledge of international payments and foreign exchange productsProficient in CRM software (e.
