We are looking for a detail-oriented PQS Officer experienced in supporting organisational compliance with regards to NDIS Reportable Incidents and possesses a solid understanding of Positive Behaviour Support including Restrictive Practices to join our Practice, Quality and Safeguards team.
The responsibilities of the position include:
Monitor, track, and support organisational compliance with reportable incidents in accordance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelines.Ensure accurate and timely submission of reportable incidents through the NDIS Commission's PRODA portal, adhering to required timeframes (e.g.
24-hour notifications, 5-day notifications, weekly URP reporting, and RFIs).Submit weekly URP reportable incident compliance reports for all clients approved by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (NQSC).Provide frontline staff with guidance and support on incident identification, prevention, and response to abuse and neglect.Participate in the out-of-hours incident triaging roster, covering weekends and public holidays (approximately one weekend every three weeks).Provide training and guidance to frontline staff and managers on incident reporting, compliance, and safeguarding best practices.OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:
5+ years' industry experience and expertise in managing incidents and understanding of restrictive practices in line with the NDIS Practice Standards and legislative requirements, including a solid understanding of contemporary issues in relation to all forms of abuse, assault, and neglect regarding adults with disability.Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Highly developed organisation skills and ability to manage a high-volume and diverse workload, and the ability to manage competing demands and to meet deadlines.Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail and demonstrated experience of timely and accurate data management across systems.WHAT WE OFFER:
