- Build secure, scalable APIs in Node.js using TypeScript
- Design systems that scale from user onboarding to QR event ingestion
- Collaborate with frontend, mobile, and data teams to deliver cohesive features
- Improve observability, testing, and service performance
- Lead code reviews and mentor mid-level engineers
- 5+ years in backend development, ideally in fast-paced product teams
- Deep Node.js experience, with strong fundamentals in async architecture
- Familiarity with GCP or other cloud environments
- Good understanding of system design, data modelling, and API security
- Clear communicator and collaborator across functions
