OverviewWe are looking for an experienced, collaborative, solutions-oriented Senior Account Manager to join our vibrant integrated Campaigns and Content team here in Melbourne.
In this role you will work closely with an experienced team of account leaders, creatives, data experts and social managers to deliver best-in-class client solutions. This role must build strong client relationships and ensure the delivery of desired results, contributing to the achievement of client satisfaction and strategic business objectives.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Client and Relationship Management:
Maintain daily contact and build strong, collaborative relationships with clients at multiple levels and key business partners.
Ensure clarity around client expectations and objectives, communicate consistently throughout project execution, and ensure clients' perspectives and goals are represented.
Foster excellent relationships with internal agency departments to guarantee exceptional client delivery.
Develop and uphold strong, trust-based relationships characterised by respect and authenticity, encouraging open dialogue and idea sharing.
Actively support and champion client, agency, and team goals by delivering quality, promoting transparency, and driving innovation.
Play a key role in major client presentations, including project planning and selling creative through the development of strong rationales.
Provide guidance and clarity to clients, tactfully addressing difficult issues and navigating tough conversations.
Campaign Strategy and Planning:
Collaborate with clients to develop clear reverse client briefs and work with internal teams to create comprehensive advertising strategies and inspiring creative briefs.
Oversee the creation of campaign briefs and direct the creative and production teams.
Support the Account Director and account team in developing client business through brainstorming and suggesting innovative ideas and solutions
Develop impactful proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
Project Management:
Lead campaigns from conception through to delivery, ensuring high standards are met at every stage.
Coordinate activities between internal departments including strategy, creative, paid media, CRM, social, and production to ensure seamless campaign execution (and equally with external partners).
Manage day-to-day operations such as writing clear contact reports with actionable next steps, lead financial leadership while focusing on building face-to-face relationships with clients, team members, and agency partners.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, making necessary adjustments to meet deliverables.
Financial and Campaign Performance Management:
Oversee and actively manage project budgets through tracking, scoping, raising estimates, and issuing POs.
Develop and maintain timelines, fostering flexibility and proactivity to adjust plans as required, ensuring all relevant stakeholders contribute to meeting project timelines.
Analyse campaign performance data to provide clients with insightful assessments, generating detailed reports measuring outcomes against objectives and recommending improvements for future campaigns.
Accurately manage resource allocation and traffic to progress creative and artwork through the agency efficiently.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
5+ years of relevant experience in account management, either agency or client side.
Proven experience in integrated campaign management.
Passion and curiosity about keeping up to date with relevant trends, new technologies and proactive competitive assessments of the advertising landscape.
Excellent communication and presenting skills, you enjoy collaborating with your team and clients and building strong relationships with them.
Enjoys seeking out new business opportunities for clients and ways to improve their business.
Must have exceptional presentation skills as well as excellent analytical skills. This person must be highly organised, with a charismatic and varied communication style.
Demonstrates technical competence with current IT software, telecommunications systems and office equipment.
Proactive and can-do attitude.
