Solutions Architect
Azooa is seeking two highly skilled Solution Architects to support high-profile Defence projects within the Military Platform Integration (MPI) program under the Defence Digital Group (DDG).
These roles involve leading technical architecture, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and delivering scalable, resilient Defence solutions.
If you are an experienced Solution Architect with expertise in system design, risk management, and technical leadership, this is your chance to drive innovation and shape mission-critical Defence capabilities.
About the RolesWe have two exciting opportunities for senior technical leaders in Defence architecture and safety engineering:
- Lead the development of integrated operational architectures within Defence programs.
- Provide technical leadership, ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards.
- Oversee system integration, risk assessment, and architecture reviews.
- Engage with Defence, industry, and government stakeholders to define strategic objectives.
- Design and deliver robust solution architectures for Defence applications.
- Conduct technical evaluations, ensuring compliance with TOGAF, ISO, and Defence frameworks.
- Oversee implementation across engineering teams, providing technical mentorship.
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies to enhance solution security and reliability.
- Represent the organisation in technical forums and industry engagements.
Both roles require expertise in Defence system architecture, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:- Proficiency in Solution Architecture (ARCH Level 6, SFIA 7) & Safety Engineering (SFEN Level 6, SFIA 7).
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Solution Architecture, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in solution design, implementation, and risk mitigation.
- Deep understanding of ISO standards, TOGAF frameworks, and Defence security compliance.
- Strong background in technical leadership, risk assessment, and system safety.
- Previous Defence experience is highly regarded.
- Strong leadership and communication skills - ability to influence stakeholders and lead complex projects.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving - ensuring robust and risk-mitigated solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities - working effectively in high-security, mission-critical environments.
- Strategic mindset - balancing business objectives with technical execution.
