Our client is a highly reputable investment bank headquartered in Dubai, currently seeking to appoint a Vice President to join their growing Debt Advisory team.
This role is part of a strategic build-out to support increasing deal activity across Central Africa.The ideal candidate will bring strong technical and transactional experience in Debt Advisory or DCM, combined with French language fluency and deep understanding of or ties to Central African markets.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute debt advisory mandates across emerging and frontier markets, with a strong focus on Central AfricaOriginate and manage client relationships, particularly with corporates and financial institutions operating in or focused on Central AfricaStructure and negotiate financing solutions, including syndicated loans, project finance, and capital markets instrumentsWork closely with internal product and coverage teams to deliver tailored financing strategiesMentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the platform's Africa-focused offeringKey Requirements:
6+ years of experience in Debt Advisory or Debt Capital Markets, ideally from a leading investment bank or advisory platformFluent in French; additional African languages are a plusStrong exposure to Central African clients or marketsCurrently operating at VP level with demonstrated leadership in transaction executionCandidates currently based in the GCC, or those open to relocating from the UK, France, or US, will be consideredStrong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-performing environment
