Take over a key role as a
Head of Engineering
in the Engineering department and be a part of this exciting adventure of never-ending growth and success.
Reporting to the CEO, the Head of Engineering will be responsible for identifying short- and long-term technological solutions and will play a crucial role in setting the company's technology strategy.
As a member of the executive leadership team, the Head of Engineering will focus on building a high-caliber tech culture, optimizing digital experience, improving existing systems, and will direct all Justlife folks in software development, mobile development, architecture, and quality assurance teams full of A players.
What we expect from you:
Improve the digital experience of Justlife web and app users through product/technology improvements via software development.
Work closely with the Product organization to build effective cross-functional teams to ship products and features in line with the company's goals.
Collaborate and form partnerships with external & internal stakeholders to drive technology roadmap.
Create an environment that promotes engineering excellence by attracting and retaining high-performing talent from diverse backgrounds.
Identify opportunities to implement emerging technologies into Justlife's existing practices and operations.
Unlock Justlife's potential to innovate and differentiate itself from competition.
Optimize financial aspects of technology development and implementation by managing operating and capital budgets.
What we are looking for:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline.
8 to 10 years of managerial experience in high revenue and online traffic generating/driving marketplace or e-commerce companies.
Significant experience in building complex, large-scale internet/digital-based systems and high-performing marketplace applications.
In-depth knowledge of software engineering development lifecycle, web systems architecture, and design of complex and highly scalable products.
Agile methodology, program management, and engineering execution skillset.
Experience in hiring, building, and leading top-notch engineering teams.
Strong relationship management, strategy development, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding and interpretation of business models and the application of technology.
Exceptional technical and non-technical presentation and communication skills.
